Dalton-in-Furness is home to wonderful local shops and eateries, while nearby Barrow-in-Furness boasts a rich industrial heritage as well as stunning nature and a fantastic indoor market and the seaside village of Askham-in-Furness has a long sandy beach which offers spectacular sunsets.
Inland, Cartmel is a charming countryside village known for its food and drink: it’s home to not one, but two Michelin-starred restaurants, as well as the popular Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding.
